Christmas is just a few days away, and if you have a special someone who is a K-pop or K-drama fan you want to surprise them but don't know what to get them, then these gift ideas might help you decide:

1. Albums

You can never go wrong with albums. They are basically a total package because K-pop albums are different from your regular albums; why? Because the standard for a K-pop album includes the following: a CD plate, a lyric book, photocards or better known as polaroids, posters, a photobook, stickers, and sometimes post cards or even a desk standee. There are so many inclusions in one album and those inclusions vary depending on the number of versions the album have. It's that good. These albums would usually range from seven hundred pesos and up. Just make sure know what fandom the person you're getting an album and that it arrives your intended day 😀

2. Cosmetics

Korean Cosmetics are always on trend and for fans, they would sure love to get the same brand oppa uses to moisturize his skin, then why not get him or her Nature Republic's Aloe Vera Soothing Gel to get that dewy look just like other idols; the price ranges from two hundred forty-five pesos for the 300 ml variant just like in the photo above but there are plenty more brands out there. It does not only keep your face moisturized but also does not hurt your wallet 😀

3. Earphones

K-pop fans + smartphone = inseparable pair. When I'm out in public, I'm usually seen with my earphones lodged in my ears enjoying the jam of K-pop. Earphones would be a good gift for fans who enjoy the eargasmic tunes of K-pop. Price range may vary but as I have observed, the more pricey the earphones, the better the sound quality is. It is a gift the surely will be very much appreciated and treasured.

4. Lightsticks

One of the most pricey merchandise on the list. Lightsticks are merchandise that is somewhat your identity in the K-pop world. Lightsticks are symbols of support especially during concerts and create oceans. These lightsticks vary per artist as they are designed to symbolize not only the group but to give the fans a sense of dignity in waving these lightsticks. They also vary in color as colors are trademarked by the group's agency to avoid duplication and conflict. Lightsticks range from 1800 pesos up to 2500 depending on the demand and form factor.

5. Trip to Korea

Let's be honest, who doesn't want to go to Korea and meet oppa in the flesh. An outrageous gift idea but if the person deserves it, then it could be possible. A trip to Korea can be the most memorable gift for Christmas a person can receive.

Those were some of the things you can get a K-pop or K-drama fan this holiday season. What are you getting them for Christmas? Still pondering? Why not ponder while listening to Girls' Generation's Taeyeon and her latest winter album, with the title track, This Christmas
